Privacy Policy

Flathead Farm Mutual Insurance Company (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This notice explains what information we collect through this website and how we use it.

Information we collect

When you contact us by phone, email, or through this site, we collect the information you choose to provide — such as your name, contact details, and the nature of your inquiry. Like most websites, our server may also log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited.

How we use information

We use the information you provide to respond to inquiries, service policies, process claims, and connect you with a local independent agent. We do not sell your personal information. Information related to your insurance policy is handled in accordance with applicable Montana and federal insurance privacy requirements.

Online payments

Online payments are processed by our third-party payment portal (InvoiceCloud). Payment card details are entered on and processed by that service under its own privacy and security policies — we do not store your card information on this website.

Our commitment to members

We are committed to carefully guarding the private information our members entrust to us:

  • We will not sell member information.
  • We will not provide member information to anyone doing business on our behalf for marketing purposes.
  • We will not share a member’s medical information with anyone unless you request us to do so.

Information we collect and disclose as an insurer

We collect nonpublic personal information to conduct our business and deliver quality service — from your application for insurance, your correspondence with us by mail, telephone, or internet, and from third parties such as claim history, mortgagee information, and agents. We share member information only as necessary to handle claims and service policies — for example, providing your name, address, and coverage limits to a claims adjuster after a loss, or transaction information to our agents, board of directors, and reinsurers — and otherwise as permitted or required by law.

Your right to choose

You have the right to instruct us not to share your private information with third parties outside our family of companies (disclosures required or permitted by law may still occur). If there are multiple owners of an insurance product, any one of you may make this request on behalf of the others, and we will honor it for as long as you are our member. Contact our office to exercise this right.
